Why Everyone is Drinking Celery Juice and Why You Should Consider Adding it to Your Morning Routine

Perhaps you've noticed the carts full of celery at the grocery store or the instagram posts of celebrities with their celery juice and wondered what this celery juice thing was all about.  If you’re curious or if you otherwise haven't heard, there is a big celery juice trend going on right now - the source of which is the New York Times bestselling author, Anthony Williams (more commonly known as the “Medical Medium”).

Benefits of Celery Juice

According to Anthony, the benefits of celery juice are endless and range from helping to restore gut health and clearing up acne to fighting autoimmune disease and supporting the liver.  Williams states that “celery juice is a miracle juice and that it’s one of the greatest healing tonics of all time. I’ve seen thousands of people who suffer from chronic and mystery illnesses restore their health by drinking sixteen ounces of celery juice daily on an empty stomach.”

With celebrity endorsers like Novak Djokovic, Pharrell Williams, Sylvester Stallone, Robert DeNiro and Gwyneth Paltrow, celery juice has become all the rage, and celery sales are at an all time high.

Try It Out For Yourself

If you are interested in testing out celery juice for yourself, start your morning with a 12-16 ounce glass of celery juice. It is important to have the celery juice solo - don’t mix it with lemon or other veggies. Make sure to have it on an empty stomach, and don’t eat or drink anything for at least 15 minutes following. If you’re sensitive, and sixteen ounces is too much, start with a smaller amount, such as two to eight ounces, and increase how much you consume over time.

Personally, we have found that we feel much better after starting our day with celery juice.  However, you shouldn’t take our word for it, try it for yourself, and see how it transforms your health.
