Matcha Latte

We have saved ourselves a lot of money since creating our own at-home version of the Matcha Latte, and honestly, we think it’s even better (and certainly healthier) than the store bought version. We now start off most mornings with this recipe, but most enjoy savoring it on a lazy Sunday morning pre-meditation.

Ingredients:

  • Organic Matcha (LNON Tip: Our favorite is from the Clean website)

  • Dairy free milk, like almond, oat or coconut milk

  • Raw honey

  • Cinnamon

  • Optional add ons:

    • Collagen powder (LNON Tip: Vital Proteins is a great clean source)

    • Sun Potion Yin Power, which is an adaptogenic formula of organic + wild harvested tonic herbs that promote hormonal balance, energy, longevity and beauty. (LNON Tip: This one of our all time favorite supplements!)

Instructions:

  • Add ½ to 1 teaspoon of organic matcha to a 3oz cup of hot (not boiling) water.

  • Whisk thoroughly until tea is dissolved. (LNON Tip: if you don’t own a whisk, we’ve found a fork will do just fine).

  • Steam around 6oz of your choice of dairy free milk (LNON Tip: We think it tastes best with oat milk). If you don’t have a steamer, you can put it on the stove top until it warms up.

  • One tablespoon of raw honey (LNON Tip: Our favorite is Beekeeper’s Naturals B Powered Superfood Honey, which contains power foods - Royal Jelly, Bee Pollen and Propolis)

  • Top with cinnamon.
